Hit and Run (90-min special) Summary:-
Parts 1 + 2: Written by Peter Mattessi, Directed by Scott Major Ramsay Street is set to party for Toadie's 21st with many familiar faces returning for the celebrations. Izzy returns to drive a wedge between Karl and Susan. Can Paige and Jack resist temptation? On the eve of Tyler's trial, instead of going to Toadie's 21st birthday party, Piper surprises Tyler by booking a room for them in a city hotel - then persuades him that they should go on the run. The next morning they are spotted and reported to the police by someone who believes they have Piper's best interests at heart. A desperate rooftop escape bid ensues, culminating in a nail-biting cliffhanger as the police close in - with one young life hanging by the fingertips.Part 3: Written by Stephen Vagg, Directed by Chris Adshead The police rescue Piper and arrest Tyler, who is immediately jailed. Izzy donates a sizable sum to the hospital wing but demands it be named after Karl. Paige and Jack face the consequences of their actions.
